The app stores clinician profile details, license renewal dates, CE records, credential records, proof attachments, notification settings, export history, and optional raw OCR text. It does not require patient names, patient treatment records, PHI, HealthKit data, analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, or an external account.
Records and settings are stored with SwiftData. Proof attachments and thumbnails are stored in Application Support. User-created audit exports are stored in Documents/Audit Exports and may be visible through Finder or iTunes file sharing when device file sharing is available. Temporary CEVault import and preview files may be created during document workflows. Local notification requests stay on the device. Debug OCR files are app-owned debug artifacts created only when debug retention is enabled.
Local-only mode keeps records on the device unless the user exports them. If the user enables private iCloud backup, CEVault Dental syncs records and certificate files through the user's private iCloud database on real-device launches. Turning private iCloud backup off stops future sync for this app on this device after restart but does not imply remote iCloud data deletion.
OCR is used to suggest CE and credential fields from imported proof documents. Raw OCR text is not retained unless the active profile enables raw OCR retention. Settings includes a purge action for stored OCR text.
Audit exports are files created by the user. Export packets can include a PDF summary, CSV files, manifest JSON, DataSnapshot.json, and optional proof attachments. DataSnapshot.json is an audit data snapshot, not a manual restore/import feature. License and DEA-style identifiers are masked by default. Users can delete export history and generated export files in the app.
When attachments are included, CEVault Dental packages the original user-selected proof files. The app does not rewrite or redact binary attachment contents; users should review proof files before sharing them.
Delete all local data removes app-owned records, proof files, local exports, OCR debug files, CEVault temporary files, and pending reminders from the device. If private iCloud backup is enabled, iCloud deletion behavior follows the user's iCloud account and app data settings.
CEVault Dental is for clinician professional record storage. Users should not store patient names, patient records, treatment notes, medical charts, or PHI in notes or attachments.
The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, HealthKit, or a developer-operated backend. Apple platform services may be used for local notifications, biometric unlock, document import, camera/photo picking, and optional private iCloud backup.
Settings includes a Support page with no-PHI support guidance. Users should not send patient PHI, patient records, treatment notes, medical charts, license numbers, DEA-style identifiers, raw OCR text, or full proof files in a support request unless they intentionally choose to share them after reviewing the content.
CEVault Dental is a personal tracker. It does not provide legal advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, patient monitoring, or board submission.
